Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a resident of Virginia since 1985, most of that time in Richmond. I serve as Board President of the "Friends of Shockoe Hill Cemetery", and am the immediate past Commander-in-Chief of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States (MOLLUS), the oldest Civil War descendants' organization.

I am happy to make corrections and additions as needed.

Thanks for letting me know that it was incorrect and a duplicate. I deleted it. You will have gotten an email about it showing what I found in the obituary because I didn't realize you were the same person that had reported the error. Included the obituary in case you want to use it. Thanks again.

Dear Jeffry: Thanks so much for getting a photo of this grave marker. Her first name was definitely Emily, if you are able to correct this on the page. All best, Stephen McLeod

Hi there,
Just a note to let you know why "Lieut" was denied as an edit to the name prefix field. I only add ranks to the names in 2 instances - died in the service or retired military. Neither applies here. His service is detailed in the obit on his memorial.

RE: Caroline and Josephine
Hi, Jeffry, I have finally found definitive name and birth date info about Caroline Ruhle's first name in A German database of Southwestern German emigration. I would like to see about a joint marker for the girls. You said you could point me in the right direction for doing so. Thanks, Gaye Elliott

Jeffry,

I do not check the veracity of suggested links. I wanted you to know that.
