I look for identified photos wherever I can find them, and sell them on eBay. It's amazing how many people find their ancestors in my eBay store - and it's very rewarding. I've recently started going back through the scans of photos I've sold and adding them to this site.

My research usually turns up census records that show a lot of info I can use to update a memorial - spouses, children, dobs, etc. Since Edits have become so easy, I often send out a bunch of edit requests for a family group. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to accept them and make findagrave better. I love that I'm able to connect family members who are scattered all over the country. If I've sent you an edit request, it's because I've researched that person or someone in their family.

Many of the memorials I've created are not my family, so don't hesitate to ask if you'd like one transferred to you.
