I grew up in Sloans Valley, Ky a few years behind a guy I thought the world of, Milford Gerald McKee. I was drafted and followed him a few years later (1968) into Vietnam and by GODs grace I returned. I retired from the military with 22 years of service and would do it all over again. Mom, Dad and many friends are now buried in the Sloans Valley Cemetery. I drive down from Illinois on weekends just to pay my respects and remember the best days of my life. So if you see an old soldier sitting by the Hildebrant tombstone dont be a stranger, come say hello.
