|Jan Fenter||RE: Hershal Noel Kindred 3905210|
I didn't create Hershal's memorial page, but it was done by a group called US Veteran's Affairs.
You probably already know this, but if you haven't done so yet, you can request that the "US Veteran's Affairs" transfer Hershal's memorial page to you. That is if you would like to maintain his memorial page. Normally we click on the name of the person who created the memorial page, but in order to request a transfer from these people you have to click on the "Edit" tab at the top right of the memorial page. Then on the next sheet, click on the option "Suggest any other correction or addition." Use this option to ask them to transfer the memorial page to you because you are related. You can tell them Hershal's Aunt is your great grandmother, and this might be a close enough family tie that they will transfer the memorial to you to maintain. Make sure you include your Find A Grave member name and number in your request, or the transfer won't happen. They won't look it up, but need it to do the transfer. The transfer may take a few days. I've done transfer requests this way and it has worked.
Be sure to click on the box that is "CC" so a check mark appears, and you will get a copy of your request sent to your personal email.
I don't remember why I did a photo for Hershal. I'm not a family member, so I might have done it because a photo was requested by someone, or I just saw it next to another one I was doing, or on my way out of the section.

|Lisa O||The Higdon family|
Hi Stephen, I'd like permission to use the photos you have of the Higdon family for my public family tree. Pius Ignatius married Catherine Shircliff granddau of John Shircliff. Her father Thomas was a nephew of my gg grandmother Julianna Shircliff Cunningham. Of course I'll credit you and findagrave for providing these treasures! Thanks for your consideration, Lisa

Wow! I dont know what the chances of this are, but Mary Jane Henson is my GreatGreat Grandmother. I was searching for her parents and when I noticed Jesse Henson Jr. having 7 children I though what the heck why not ask? haha but anyways thanks for the info! Do you know anything of the Native American history of the family?
