Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, l'm Sharon. l live in England and l have 4 grown up daughters and 17 grandchildren. Sadly one of my grandsons, Brendon, passed away in 2005, aged only two and a half years. l came across this website while l was compiling my family tree, so l thought l'd set up a memorial to him.
l very much want to thank everybody for visiting Brendon and for all your beautiful gifts. Words can't express how much l appreciate every one of them. Blessings on you all.

l will gladly transfer any memorials that are not related to me.
l have researched most of the memorials l've added and any information l've added has been to the best of my knowledge.

WISHING EVERYONE ALL THE BEST FOR 2017...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

RE: Shenstone, St John the Baptist
Wow - that's very generous of you - and I hope it would be relatively easy to establish whether they had markers before trying to look for needles in haystacks!

Apart from Ann Pamela Allsopp (nee Myring) 1887-1968, I know from FindMyPast that the following four are buried at Shenstone (but whether or not they have any marker I have no idea):

Thomas Myring 1814-1890
Pamela Myring 1814-1886
James Pointon 1812-1864
Ann Pointon c1809-1883

Ann Pamela's parents were:

William I Myring 1852-1925
Mary Ann Myring 1848/9-1920

I know they lived there, but can't find a burial record online for them which would confirm their resting place as Shenstone - I just suspect that would be the case.

By the way, Ann Pamela worked as a domestic servant at Shenstone Lodge and we have an old postcard of the lodge. My grandmother (Ann Pamela's daughter) worked there too from the age of 13-16.

Ann Pamela's husband was William Walter Allsopp 1892-1924. I have no idea at all where he was buried, although if not there it wouldn't be far from there I would think. He died of pneumonia and I get the impression that his health was compromised by the war, although he died quite some time after it. It was a hard life I think to be widowed with four children between the age of 2-8 with no pension ... probably a bit more information than you need!

Thank you again for your help!

Kind regards
Hilary

Wow! That would be amazing. I have no idea where it is exactly in the cemetery (so if you could find out - I guess it has a plot no., etc). I have a cousin (currently down in London) whose mother, although she had alzheimers, would always go straight to her grandmother's grave - she never forgot. Of course she had to go into care and is gone now. Again, thank you so much ... and I hope it really is no trouble!

I have a heap of other ancestors I know are buried there as I've seen their burial records online, but my feeling is that they must have been very poor and maybe don't even have stones.

Kind regards
Hilary

RE: Shenstone, St John the Baptist
Hi Sharon,
Ha, I suppose I could have done that myself - question of not knowing where it is best to enquire as I think I've contacted a church myself in the past about a grave but didn't get anywhere. Anyway, thank you for doing that for someone you don't know on the other side of the world, I do appreciate it, and we'll see if they come up with anything!
Kind regards,
Hilary

Shenstone, St John the Baptist
Hi Sharon,
I hope you don't mind me contacting you - I saw you had put photos up of St John the Baptist, Shenstone, so wondered if you would be able to help at all. My great grandmother, Ann Pamela Allsopp (1887 - 1968) is buried there and I know she has a stone there. Just wondered whether I could get any information on grave locations there as I may get to go there next year. Thank you if you have any way to help with that at all, or can suggest any way to find out in advance of a visit.
Kind regards
Hilary Tait

Sending Love and Appreciation to a Very Special Person!
Hello Legsie11! I am taking a moment to let you know how much flowering My Grandson Blake Dickus's Memorial means to me. You always leave such adorable tokens that make me laugh, say awww, or just sit there and smile. It really warms my heart and I know he would be so excited that so many people stop to see him. God bless you for Your Love!
