I have had a lifelong love of family history and cemeteries. I routinely review old newspapers for obituaries and do my best to place a copy on Findagrave. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, whether I've created a record, or uploaded an obituary or photograph.

Each one of us who has this passion, is making a print on history. We are "preserving the past for the future". Family researchers who haven't been born yet, will silently thank us for our contributions.

Her name is Jessica Stinson and she was my only child. Her Dad, Greg, died of pneumonia 4 months after she did. He knew he was sick, but I think he was so despondent after losing Jessica, he lost his will to live.

Every single one of the flowers or words you leave on Jessica's memorial touches my heart. And, yes, every one makes me cry.
