All photos of graves that I have posted were taken by me and may be copied freely and posted on other websites. There is no need to credit me or identify me when they are so used and no need to request permission beforehand. I won't be annoyed if you do anyway, but it really isn't necessary for the grave photos taken by me. Most photos of persons that I have posted were not taken by me. Please check the photo caption to determine the source (most often an obituary).

The photos were taken with a Sony Cybershot camera, which takes 4896x3672 (18M-pixel) images. The original JPG files are 6-7 MB in size. I then use GIMP, an open source image processing program that can be downloaded for free from, to rotate, crop and rescale the images. Usually I set the horizontal resolution to 1200 pixels, sometimes up to 1600 for panoramic scenes. I use a compression "quality" setting of 50 to 70, most often 60 to 65. The resulting picture files are usually 250 to 300 kB, with some up to 400 kB. Limiting the file size to that range allows snappy downloads when opening the image at full resolution.

Mullarkey and Holahan families
Good morning Eric,

Thank you for adding the grave information for the Mullarkey and Holahan families buried in Cathedral Cemetery in Wilmington. The matriarchs of these families are sisters of my grandmother.

Would it be possible to transfer the care of the memorial to me? My Find a Grave #48515008.
The families I'm interested in are:

Mary Anne McCaffery Mullarkey # 112853925, John Mullarkey # 112853923, John Mullarkey (baby) # 112853922, Joseph A. Mullarkey # 112591410.
Catherine McCaffery Holahan # 110434205
, James Holahan # 110434206, Margaret Holahan (baby) # 110434207.

Thank you for your time,

Ron O'Brien

Re: Fortugno Family
Thank you kindly for your help Eric.

Yes I would appreciate a transfer of the Fortugno's then I can add in other personal information on family members.
I have the copy of the death certificate you mentioned.
I have chased tombstones for about 40 years and still doing it.

Fortugno Family--Cathedral Cem., Wilmington, Delaware

I see you listed some Fortugno family in Cathedral Cem., WILMINGTON, Delaware this family is related to my husband's mother who was a Fortugno.
Listed is an Infant Fortugno 1937-June 1937 and Infant 1927-May 14, 1927
Can you kindly tell me where the dates came from. The babies are 6 of 11 children of Giuseppe Fortugno and Maria Angela Earo Fortugno

I have listed the family Carmela M. 1923-1924 , Ida 1922-1923 with a picture of a stone. There is Dolores Fortugno 1936-1936, Anthony Apr. 2, 1926- Apr. 3, 1926, Paul 1928-1928 a stillborn, Demetrio 1912-Jan. 14, 1913 9 these would have been my husband's aunts and uncles)

Are you related to the Fortugno family , if so how?

Thank you Kindly,
Thelma Maiorano

Emedio Pelliccioni
This is my wife's family and her grandfather always resented having his name changed. Giving him his name back is a way the family would like it done.

The year of birth listed for Mrs. Garman isn't correct. I was wondering if you could update with the correct year please!

Wife of Douglas K Garman, both buried at All Saints Cemetery.
