|All photos of graves that I have posted were taken by me and may be copied freely and posted on other websites. There is no need to credit me or identify me when they are so used and no need to request permission beforehand. I won't be annoyed if you do anyway, but it really isn't necessary for the grave photos taken by me. Most photos of persons that I have posted were not taken by me. Please check the photo caption to determine the source (most often an obituary).|
The photos were taken with a Sony Cybershot camera, which takes 4896x3672 (18M-pixel) images. The original JPG files are 6-7 MB in size. I then use GIMP, an open source image processing program that can be downloaded for free from gimp.org, to rotate, crop and rescale the images. Usually I set the horizontal resolution to 1200 pixels, sometimes up to 1600 for panoramic scenes. I use a compression "quality" setting of 50 to 70, most often 60 to 65. The resulting picture files are usually 250 to 300 kB, with some up to 400 kB. Limiting the file size to that range allows snappy downloads when opening the image at full resolution.

Good morning Eric: Thank you VERY much for transferring my grandfather's memorial (Matthew Saccone). I have a problem that I don't know how to solve because I am so new at this. I had found a memorial for a great aunt (Mary Yacabell, 7855751) which had been established by another contributor. I had requested transfer of the memorial to me and she graciously did so.
I had went to your page and noticed that you also have a memorial for Mary Yacabell (Maria Delapo). I absolutely do not want to take advantage of the work you have done but due to the nature of my newly established memorial, I will delete it if you say so. Yours is the more comprehensive and I see no reason to have two.
When we lived in Italy we actually went to Serra San Bruno in Calabria where Aunt Mary's cousins lived and had a nice chat with them in our weird "pigin" Italian.
Please advise what you want me to do - delete my memorial or would you consider a transfer so we can keep it orderly?
Sorry to bother you.
Good morning from Wyoming:
Would you please transfer the memorial for Matthew Saccone, 112186507, to me. Matteo is my grandfather, my mom's dad.

Thank you for transferring these 2 memorials to my account. They are my paternal grandparents. Miss them both dearly, even though they've been gone for many years. Thanks again!

Do you have anything for a Baby McCrea, Sec. 2A, Nov. 1925 (I think)-June 1927?

Ok. I thought I was bombarding you too much. I am currently working on photographing this cemetery which will probably take years :) I appreciate you adding the names because, with questions, I am easily able to match up photo with lot.

So should I add a photo to Helena's memorial page? Just her and her daughter are in there? (Thanks for helping with this)

Hi Eric - I have a photo for "Orlowski" - mausoleum. By chance (normally not possible) I was able to get a photo of the inside. Sophie Layton #11167965. I looked at the other Orlowski memorials and none match the section this mausoleum is in. Do you have any info on her and who else may be there?
By the way, this is exactly why I am so grateful when names are added first. Makes it easier and more exact when I can place name, section and photo all together. So, thank you for all your work!

Hi Eric - Hoping you can help. Have a photo of stone that says "Filippo" with the dates 1898-1936. Sec. 3A Cathedral. It's near Frances and Phillip Fazzari. I'm thinking you have cemetery records since you added so many memorials. Can you provide me with any info on Filippo? First name? Last name? Kimberly
