There are thousands of names on the wall
As you read them you stand straight and tall

For you realize our freedom did not come free
Many died to give it to you and me

Whether they fight on land by air or at sea
They are fighting for freedom for all the world to see

If you see a soldier either woman or man
Be sure to thank them and shake their hand

You want them to walk away straight and tall
For the one you just thanked may to give their all
