Hi from Xenia, OH!|
I was born in Winston-Salem, NC but grew up in Dayton, OH.
I currently am a member of and attend Beaver UCC which is located next to Beaver Cemetery in Beavercreek Township, Greene County, OH
So it's really not much of a problem to look up and take a photo for there if anyone wants or needs one. I also live near some other cemeteries in Xenia.
My hobbies include (but are not limited to)- genealogy, reading, and listening to music.
Thanks beyond words.
I am working on/have info on the following names:
GEIS(various spellings)in the area of Belvidere, Warren Co, NJ and
REIMEL - in Northampton Co. PA and nearby areas of PA and NJ.
PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU SHOULD HAPPEN TO HAVE INFORMATION ON THESE LINES OR IF MAY BE RELATED TO ANYONE WITH THESE SURNAMES. THANK YOU!
Please leave some flowers for my late husband Peter, my friend Paul and for little Samantha who was killed by her mother.

Any chance you could go to the Woodland Cemetery in Dayton for me?
I am trying to get my entire Randall family in section 31, Lot 1350.

Actually, I know nothing about her or her history other than she is listed on the memorial wall in the cemetery as indicated. If you have particular information, such as an exact date of birth, place of birth, etc., I will list that.
I wish I could be of more help, but at least you have the dod (year) and that she likely died in the west valley of Phoenix. Dave Alexander

Sorry I don't have any info, try David and Carol contributor # 47894434

Hi Bertha, thank you so very much for the beautiful photo's you added to his memorial for me! I especially liked the one of his memory card, I haven't seen that done yet for a grave. Nice.
Thank you, Lynda
|Ruth M Austin||Charlotte Elaine Marshall Gwynn|
I am the younger sister of Charlotte Elaine Marshall Gwynn and this is in reply to your note that you left on her "find-a-grave" on Ancestry.com.
Charlotte is buried in the Gwynn Cemetery located on rt. 676 about one mile south of intersection of rds. 676-677 in orchard. This cemetery is listed on page 338 of Patrick Co., VA Cemetery Book by O. E. Pilson, and the cemetery number is (766). This book was printed before Charlotte's death, so her name is not on the list of those buried there. Her husband John Barker Gwynn is also buried beside her. He was born March 28, 1921 in Patrick Co., VA and died on May 3, 2003 in Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC.
John Barker Gwynn's parents Levi A. Gwynn, born November 5, 1887 & died June 14, 1937 and Rachel Etta Hall, Born March 22, 1892 & died August 29, 1977 are also buried in this Gwynn Cemetery. If additional information is needed, please contact me "Hobo_Kid" at Ancestry.com. Thank you for the work you perform on "Find-A-Grave." Sincerely, RMA

When John went to war, he was 30. That would put his birth in 1832, just like the above census.

Well, I'm sure glad to help. Oral stories and recollections handed down are not always accurate, as you probably know. Happy to help you find your relative!
|Richard Wright||RE: Regarding Rosetta Montgomery Thomas|
I created this memorial from a list of burials for North East Cemetery. I have re-checked the original copy, and what I have posted matches the original document. I agree, it seems that her maiden name was probably Phillips, and had children by her first marriage to a Montgomery, and then a second marriage to someone by the name of Thomas. I've looked for an archived obituary that might give more information about her, and found none. I've checked the Social Security Death index and found her name was indeed Thomas at her death, and she was born on Jan. 11, 1894. Other than that, I know no more about her. The cemetery office might have more information should you be interested in contacting them.
Have a happy holiday season,
