Thank you again to all who continue to visit my angel momma and other memorials. Your thoughtfulness is always appreciated.
If you have time, this Memorial Day, please visit my step son's Fallen Battalion Brothers of the 3/25th Marines who lost their lives in Iraq in 2005. (Virtual Cemetery 10) My step son is being re-deployed this summer. Please keep him in your prayers.
May each of you be abundantly blessed!! XOXO
~~ Dear Ancestor ~~
Your tombstone stands among the rest, neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care; it is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist; You died, and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you: in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
1 Dec 2009: Posted a Memorial for my friend and well known Paralympian, RANDY SNOW. Please pay him a visit if you have the time and keep his family in your prayers. Thank you!!

I do not need this memorial transferred to me. I knew Daniel in high school but had no contact with him after graduation.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention that his wife was also buried there. I have linked them to each other as you suggested. Sorry it took so long, I haven't been on here much recently. Happy 4th & good luck with your research!

Thank you so much for the information. Boyd (Blackie) was my grandfather's brother and my grandfather just passed. It's nice to know Madeleine's history- Thanks again I'll update her memorial asap.

I actually sent the request for the Cemetery addition. All the family's photos are posted at Fairmount that I took. Thanks again! R

If you can have the manager of the existing memorial 104312550
add the Fairmount Cemetery Spokane WA as the location. When I finish my photo file I will add the photo of his memorial. That is how I found him as I was photographing the cemetery sections. Thanks! Rosalie

Hello and thank you for all that you do to preserve our history.
I searched for Sherman McPhaul in the Luke Tipton Cemetery in the plot area stated, but I could not find his and Ms Rosa's graves. I will look again on another day since he was not in the stated grave area.
He is definitely there somewhere, along with his wife Rosa Petoe McPhaul and her twin Minnie Petoe...I just have to consult with some older people here as to where their graves might be located.
I knew him, his wife and sister-in-law from church when I was a child here in Itasca and will definitely keep looking until I find them.

Also, if you happen to make another trip out to the cemetery, could you please take a photo of his wife's headstone? Her name is Susie Shanklin Wood.

Yes I am kin, he was my Uncle and I would be honored if you transferred him over to my care.
|Sue Thompson Patterson||RE: Herschel Crawford|
Kathy, you are correct. Agnes is not buried there. I think have it all correct now. I left the other John Crawford as it was. It was a different John Crawford than your John William Crawford. The wife of the other John Crawford was Bessie Virginia (I can't remember who she was as I haven't gone back into the computer since getting home a few minutes ago.)and she had different dates. I did do a new John William Crawford and linked Bessie Elizabeth Daniel as his wife. Then I changed Herschel Marion Crawford's parents to them, thus eliminating the error of incorrect parentage. I also linked William Roy (aka Roy William) Crawford to John and Bessie. Edith is Edith Lorene Witt Crawford and was Roy's wife. She is linked to Roy. Agnes is linked to Herschel as well and to her parents. Edith's parents were H. Delmer Witt and mother Frankie Taylor. They are not in Englewood, but I got their names from Edith's death certificate. I think that is 7 in the Crawford family plot. All have pictures and all are linked. I believe that if you click on Agnes, you will find where she is buried. I really didn't look. Best to you.
