I have done genealogy for my family many years. I am also a look-up volunteer for several genealogy websites. Now I am in the process of mapping the Burns, OR cemetery and making a list of all the burials there, marked or not. I am trying to make sure all of them are posted on Find A Grave. Due to the large number of graves I have added (over 2,000 and still adding), I do not have the time to personally add info to the individual graves. I post what info I have at the time. If you have additional info send it to me through the edit tab on the memorial. I am also very willing to transfer ownership of any of the Burns graves so the proper info can be added to each one.

Thank You!
WOW! I cannot thank you enough for uploading the death records for my family in Burns Oregon. I was told there were no records that the courthouse burned down way back along with all of the records, so this has been a huge blessing to me! Thank you for all of your efforts to connect families with their history!

Find A Grave Memorial# 98811288
you have it listed as an unmarked grave. Could you still take a picture of the grave?
What is so amazing is that 2 of his sisters and a brother have been searching for the burial site. His one sister's birthday 79th is today and she is so amazed that there was so much information on this site about him. Thank you so much for all you have done.
Thanks Chyrel Legate

Applause for you!
I applaud all your efforts to send me the edits for plot numbers on Burns Cemetery. I know that has to be a tedious and thankless job, but you are doing admirably. Before I approve your edits, it gives me a chance to see the pages and make the links that are obvious, so working together, we are making that cemetery more complete for others coming behind. It's amazing how plot numbers can tell so much about people, stillborn babies, parents and kids. Keep up the good work. I stand to give you an ovation!
