|Starla Tsosie||Name on this memorial|
Since Lona Wilbanks was my maternal grandmother I felt there needs to be a correction in her name.
She was born Lona Modene Mitchell (named after her paternal grandmother). She married Jeremiah Wylie Wilbanks (spelled with one "L" - its misspelled on the marker). After his death she moved to Ripley, MS to live with Jeremiah'S younger sister, Louella Nelson and her husband, Will. Aunt Ella was very elderly and her health was not good. Shortly after Aunt Ella's death, my Uncle Will married my grandmother, Lona. She remained married to him until her death from cervical/uterine cancer.
Thus, her name was Lona Modene Mitchell Wilbanks Nelson.
I'm not exactly sure how that will be corrected. The W in her name stands for Wilbanks
Thank you, Starla Tsosie
I believe this memorial
for Maxine Jackson is my husband's grandmother. The dates are correct but she is listed as buried where she was born, she's buried in Texas.
Would you be willing to transfer this memorial to me?
|Marcellus Graham||Mother of Emma Graham|
Thanks for all your great work on Find-a-Grave.
I submitted an edit for the memorial of Emma Graham. Her mother was Martha V. Graham (68593087). Martha's full name was Martha van Buren Bevil Graham. Her husband was John Holland Graham, son of Charity May Holland Graham who was my g. grandmother.

I just wanted to give you some info on your memorial for Fannie.
She was married to a Sgt. Robert Emmett Coburn, Sr.(Co. F, 11th Ala. Cav., CSA)
They had about 10 children. There is a son, named Oscar, who is buried in the same cemetery as Fannie.
She can be found in one of my family trees on Ancestry.com. That name is "Sgt. William F. Cost Family Tree".........
My best to you
