My name is Jennifer Wirawan and I live in Anchorage, AK but also travel to Everett, WA often. I love graving and have a cemetery blog called Graving with Jenn.|
I have always had a fascination with cemeteries and genealogy. I recently discovered this site and couldn't wait to get started!
Mostly my interests are in finding the history of the deceased and their family. Therefore whenever I enter a new memorial, I try to find as much information on them as possible. If you know any more about someone I have listed, please let me know!
Transfers: I have no problem transferring memorials if requested, just send me a note by clicking "edit" on the memorial you would like transferred.
Photos: My photos are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
This means you can use the photos I have taken for personal use, and upload them to your family tree, but you cannot change and then copyright the photos or use them for commercial use.
* On very rare occasions, I add headstone photos that other people have given me permission to use - this will be noted in the captions. Please do not use photos credited to someone else in the captions without asking them for permission.

Yes, thank you. You can send them to email@example.com
That was so sweet of you to take the pictures. :D
I hope to at some point be able to go to the cemetery myself, providing I can get someone to take me. But I was no idea when that might be.
I plan to make a little memorial with the pictures, to honor her memory. :D
Thank you again. And I hope you have a happy healthy life.
Thank you for transferring the memorial for Roy Davis to me.
I appreciate it so much.

My grandmother died when I was young and while I went to her memorial service I was to little to know where she was actually buried other than somewhere in Everett.
When I went to try and find the address of where she had lived I found her grave stone on your page.
As I am home bound because of a disability I attempted to find a interactive map of the cemetery but there isn't one. So next I did a Google Maps satellite search of the cemetery but as it is a large area I had no idea where exactly to look for her stone.
I was hoping you might be able to help me. Even just a general area of where it is would help.
This is the information from your site.

I have added some edits to his memorial page. Thank you for the photo of the headstone and spending your time for making of the memorial. To make it short: He was married to a woman and her mother was in foster-care to my wife's grandmother. I appreciate if you could do these changes.
Regard K.R. Norway.

Thank you for adding John Olson. My name is Cathrine Tillas and i live in Sweden. John was my fathers grandfather. John (Johan)left Sweden around 1904 never to return. I suppose he was looking for a better life for his family and as many did he left first to start up theire new life but his wife and one daughter dies from tbc and my grandmother grew up with Johns parentes. I have some letters from John but there is very little information about his life in Alaska - Im trying to put the pieces together and find out more so I was so glad to find the photo of his grave. - so thank you again :-)

|Pat McCown Throneberry||Elmer R. McCown|
Thanks so much for posting Elmer's gave site on FINDAGRAVE. Family members died not knowing what happened to Elmer and his Father. His Father left to find his fortune and was never heard from again. When Elmer came back from service to visit the family, he left in the direction of Washington state as the family said John Lee McCown had done. John Lee is still lost but thanks to you, Elmer has been found. My cousin Leonard McCown found your posting today 01/19/2015. THANKS much, Pat McCown Throneberry 47754735.
