I also go by Sgt G - if I've left a virtual flower under that name, then I've been by to honor someone who has served either their country or their community - or both. I was an MP with the US Army and served during the first Gulf War. My last duty station was with the 24th ID at Fort Stewart ~ Rock of the Marne!|
If you would like to manage a memorial that I've created, or to just send updates or corrections, please contact me through the edit tab on that particular memorial page.
Your messages and tokens left on the memorials I manage, are greatly appreciated. I am not able to respond to every one, but know that your kindness is heartfelt. What would this life be like if we would treat those still with us as thoughtfully as we treat those already gone.
Family lines I am currently working on: Andrews and Mashburn (Sevier County/Tennessee).

Thank you so much for updating the info onto his memorial. I also wanted to say Edward Michael was very much wanted. I was 5 months pregnant with him when I lost him. He was very healthy when the Doctors did the autopsy. He would have been my first. I have pictures of him that the hospital did. I also now have a 4 year old son named Gabriel Edward Michael. I think Edward would have looked like Gabriel and he would have been a good older brother. I have had 2 miscarriages between Edward and Gabriel and another miscarriage after Gabriel. So I am really grateful for the birth of Gabriel. Also Edward Michael is always in my heart. I really enjoy the fact of his grave marker is on this website, and I am thankful for all you do.

Cpl Aldrich #14583467 is my third cousin. He is the grandson of Gov Chester H and Sylvia Stroman Aldrich from the great state of Nebraska. I am working on putting their family together.

I cannot remember ever hoping to have a transfer more than I wish to have this one. Priest Field at Westminster College, Fulton, Mo was named for Henry Priest. I watched men train there for the war in Korea and the war in Vietnam. The ROTC unit at this college brought forth the finest men, and too many did not return because of the quality of who they were. May I please have this transfer? I am #47861515.
