I have been interested in genealogy research for over 15 years. I enjoy taking photos and adding the information to this site in hope that it will help someone researching their family. I especially enjoy filling volunteer photo requests because it combines my love of photography, genealogy and volunteerism. If you see any mistakes or have additions to my postings, please let me know and I'll make corrections. |
Tip: Please include the gravesite location when requesting a photo. Most cemeteries only give out gravesite information to relatives. This can be done by calling the cemeteries directly.

I am researching a memorial locket that I've recently acquired.
That said, I've come across the info you've posted about Vernon Carleton Brown. According to the New York Historical Society, the DOB is 1859, not 1881.
Below is additional info from NYHS.
Katherine F. Brundige (1863-1927) was the daughter of Rufus Meade Brundige and Julia E. (Reynolds) Brundige of New York. She married Vernon Carlton Brown (1859-1944) at the Church of the Holy Trinity on December 13, 1883.

Thank you so very much for taking the photo of the stone at Potter's field. It brought a bit of reality to that which is the place we lay to rest our poor. Gail

Which cemeteries do you go to for taking memorial photo requests?
|Melinda Fowler||Raymond Francis Almirall|
Thank you for the information on Raymond Almirall, I have entered the information on his memorial page.

You're very welcome. The photo was added to the other Knueppels.

Thank you for the photo. I believe Laura died in 1973 not 1911. Thanks again!

|Jane Lauhon||Leon C. Javelli|
Thank you so much for changing the message about Leon dying from eating lobster. I appreciate your help.
Have a great day!
|Jane Lauhon||Leon C. Javelli|
Regarding the grave information about my 2nd greatgrandfather, Leon C. Javelli, I am now sponsoring his grave.
He actually died from Cholera Morbus, according to the certificate of burial, not from the lobster. Many of his obituaries state that he died from Cholera, also. I can change it if you would like. I updated his birth and death information. How do I change the information about the lobster?
Thank you for you help. I look forward to hearing from you.
Jane (Giavelli) Lauhon
