Hi Rosie
Going to try to give an update on all my sick family. Douglas had the heart cath today and had three stents put in. He is in ICU but is doing good and may go home late tomorrow if no problems develop. His first comment was "I guess now I can plant me some acre peas". A true country boy.
Emma Grace went to cardiologist on Tues and she is doing good.
Brenda went to neurologist yesterday afternoon. He says she has two different things, two herniated discs in back and a form of arthritis. Her problems started after she had Barr Epstein virus(mono). Her liver enzymes were not right and it was caused by mono and he thinks that was possibly when nerve damage occurred. He put her on vitamin B2 and a medicine for nerve damage which also treats restless leg syndrome. Going to do another nerve conduction test in four weeks. She really liked him so maybe she has found someone to help her. He wants copies of everything done since all this started.
When Dana had the pet scan there was a small spot that showed up on the adrenal gland. She has a rash that one dr says was caused by a new chemo medicine and that this spot was likely because of the reaction to chemo. Another dr thinks that it might possibly be cancer and they are going to watch it and see if it grows or goes away.
I appreciate the prayers for all of them but it seems that these two girls are in need of the most prayer right now.
Thank you Rosie and everyone else that reads this. Hugs and love Delita

RE: update
Hi Rosie, Yes saw the thyroid doc and she said scan and bloodwork looked normal. Low vitamin D and also border line diabetes. So have to watch what i eat and take vitamin D and see her again in a few months.
Been trying to pass these stupid stone cluster and lower back where kidney is has been hurting last couple days off and on. So drinking water and hoping it helps. Still having stomach issues but got appt to talk to gastro doc the 28th bout it. Also making appt for next month to see the lung doctor bout the asthma and pulmonary fibrosis getting worse. Im finding it hard to do much without getting out of breath. I take meds and use a nebulizer and it helps some. I feel like a basket case. Lol. Just want to feel halfway normal again.
Thank you for asking.

Hugs Missie

Re: Virtual flowers
The administration staff is now instructed to convert certain animated (and blinking, flashing) virtual flowers to a generic flower due to numerous complaints that they are potentially harmful to people with certain medical conditions (can't make this stuff up). I must admit many of those flowers have gotten really obnoxious.

So there you have it. Orders from on high.

RE: Emma Grace
My brother Douglas, Emma's great Grandfather is having heart cath on Wed April 15. Stress test showed some blockage so they will not know until they do cath what needs doing. He is 72 and in good health otherwise except for high blood pressure which all six of us kids have had. I am the youngest! Hopefully Emma will be home by then. I know his two children are exhausted. Emma has lots of head bands and bows but of course they are keeping anything away from her that would have germs or contamination. Don't want any infection so they take no chances.
Thanks for everything Rosie. Hugs Delita

RE: update
Hi Rosie, I didn't make to my thyroid doc on weds. So rescheduled til the 13th of this month.
I got my biopsy results. They were pretty much normal but he said theres still inflammtion in my esophagus and stomach. Biopsy of upper small intestine showed inflammation there too. He thinks maybe gluten intolerance. I have a appt with gastro doc end of the month to see what to do about everything. Probably change in diet etc. Plus still trying to get rid of that big stone. Thank you and friends who are praying for me.
You and your family have a Happy Easter.

Hugs Missie

Precious Memories
I do want to mention that I read these notes as well, and pray for those I see that need prayer. I wish I had the time and the health to talk to each one and or leave tokens as much as I wish, but don't. I do though care about what is going on with our findagrave friends and always am wishing them the best.

RE: Hi
Hi Rosie, I'm sorry I didn't get back sooner. If you remember all my time on Find A Grave is done from my phone. I have no way of reposting the letter I wrote Nancy. It was typed like this is directly on her page. I think you may be able to do it from a computer the way you copy from the web. I tried to re type it, but it took over 90mins to type it and between trying to switch screens, I lost it twice and my wrist is cramped with the little key board. That's a good example of my issues. Small daily tasks we all take for granted becomes something I can't do yet. It's frustrating. Yet in other ways things have improved. I need to find a place to move to and go to Dayhab. Thank you and all for the thoughts and prayers. I do feel it's working as I was in the best center and I am about 60% improved. All the factors always seemed to put me where I was best being. Thank you and all for the visits on Alexander's memorial. It is great consolation he is embraced and visited. I'm sure he's kitty sitting Moochie and arranging the recreation at the bridge. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.
Love and hugs, Allison

Thank You for All You Do!!
Hi Rosie, first of all, we appreciate everything that you do here on this find a grave site as well as all the prayer listings in order for us to pray for our friends, while we have never met, they need our prayers, support, friendship and understanding.A short update, Carolyn has lost six high school classmates within the last six months. Her father, has advanced Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's among other serious health issues. Honestly, surprised he is still with us. God Bless him. Her mother has Retina Eye blinding taking place, Dementia, mental illness and depression. Her brother, has had surgery for prostrate cancer. She is still recovering from her hard fall. She needs to see an orthopedic doctor for a second opinion, I think she has broken her fingers, and little improvement has been shown.
We think of those friends, family members hit hard by this bitter snow , we think of each of them. Rosie, I hope this finds you doing well. Again, we greatly appreciate you, you are in our prayers as well! Marvin
