Forget the zip code - I cover all of Josephine County, Oregon, especially the Historic Cemeteries. I have been a cemetery crawler all my life, and now, as Historic Sites Chair for the Josephine County Historical Society, I have a good excuse to go play in cemeteries in all my free time. I have a database of over 13000 burials in my county, and photos of most markers. Since some of those markers have since been vandalized or weathered to the point of being indecipherable, my photos are sometimes better than seeing the stone itself. I also have a large (and growing) database of obituaries and other related information. I do not charge for my material. Family history belongs in the hands of families, not in a box under my bed.|
Sorry - I do NOT go out of Josephine County.

WOW!!! Many thanks for finding at least his marker placement site, photographing it and placing a copy onto his memorial page. I was afraid there wouldn't be anything to fin after 50 years.
|Kenyon-Vinyard||RE: Mrs Hannum 1904 news clipping|
Mrs. Hannum,Dicey, her 3rd marriage, was married to Stephen Vinyard,died in 1857, they had two boys, William died in 1865 an David, he was driving the wagon that night. Josephine (Josie) Gibson is David's wife. Mrs George Hoxie is Marietta (Mary) from her 2nd marriage to John Thomas Bryan, they had 7 children.
Hope this clears things up.
Stephen & Dicey are my great-great grandparents
David & Josie are my great grandparents

|Nancy Schmeder||Mary Wetherell Garrett|
Jean, I have received a 'suggested edit' from you concerning Mary Wetherell Garrett's birth date; 11 October 1902. Her Michigan birth record states she was born on 28 December 1902. I am choosing to eliminate the birth date because I can't say for certain, which date is correct. If you'd like, I can send you the Michigan Birth Record.

I keep getting "suggested edits" from you for information that is not on the headstones that I photographed, created memorials for, and uploaded. I normally only enter information that is on the stone - in some cases I do add information from the SSDI, and note it. I do not link, add genealogy information, and such.
Normally, I only transfer management to family. However, as you keep suggesting "edits" of additional information, I have transferred all memorials I have created for Granite Hill Cemetery to you.

Please show photograph of stone.

I didn't know Arno had a second wife and can't find any reference to her. Olive Johnson has a Tree on Ancestry: "Lawrence and Viva Archer Family Tree." I think she is a granddaughter. She doesn't have Agnes. Sorry this took so long but my Doctor changed my meds. I can't concentrate but I surely can sleep!

|Fran Denny||Allen Darnell|
Jean, thank you for responding to this request. This is the only information, so far, that I have on my relative Allen Darnell. Is it possible that his gravesite is one that has been damaged or destroyed?

Corrected - thank you very much!! How did I miss that? LOL
