I am a native of Norfolk Va. And I lived in Prince William County Va from 2001 to 2013. As of 2013 I am back in Norfolk. |
If I've added someone who is family or close connection to you and would like to take over maintance, please just ask.. Thanks.
My parents were both born and raised in Lander/Casper Wyoming. My maiden name is Parks. My mothers maiden name was Willcox. My father is a survivor of the 1967 fire onboard the USS Forestall.
Besides the Parks named my dad is a relative of the Sheriffs family (his mother) who all emigrated from Scotland and settled in Wyoming (the mountains most reminded them of Scotland) My mothers family besides the Willcox were related to the White family whom a lot of them still reside in Indiana. My grandmother was a baby of 10 who left Indiana to Wyoming in a covered wagon when she was an infant. Besides contracting a fever during the trip, she and all her siblings survived who made the trip. On my mothers side we have a family cemitary in NorthFork outside of Riverton Wyo a few miles away from Lander.

|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

You're welcome. It was a beautiful day to go walking around in such a pretty park.

Thank you for going in the cold to take a photo. Snow on the ground. You are very nice.

Thanks for putting the flower on the memorial. I noticed he is your great-grandpa. Would you like ownership of his memorial? I am no relation.
