DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS UNION OFFICER? He appears to be a 2LT. IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HIS NAME AND UNIT. On the reverse side of the photo it says Partridge's Gallery, Wheeling West Virginia.|
Findagrave was founded in 1998. When I first joined this site back in july 1999, we had to mail our photos to Utah and they would upload the records. This meant I did not get credit for many records. Anytime you see my photos dated before 2002, that meant I found the records but only credited with the photo. I would guess it was around 2011 that they added links to connect family members.
I strive to do Quality Work, Not Quantity Work.
Copyright information: You may use my photos. Most people do not give credit to the people who actually take the photos.
People listed as FAMOUS on this site are "maintained by findagrave", which means only they can edit/add information. Any records I have that are Famous, I can't change a thing for you, sorry.

Okay, not a problem I understand. I do have notes extensive notes on Peter. Are you willing to add them to the bio if I submit them?
Thank you for your time. :)

It appears he was in the position of "police officer" in Louisiana at some point as I found this means; "Parish voters elected a police jury, which was responsible for law & order".
Blessings! and thank you for an addition to my "non-KCPD" police officer virtual cemetery :)
|Ms Martie Martin||RE: police officer? James Kilverton|
Tom, I could find nothing on this fellow as a police officer; or anything either in statewide obituaries or in Findagrave even with that last name. Are you sure of the spelling?
Perhaps the "killed in line of duty" means killed in war?
Good Luck! Sorry I could not help.

Tom, thank you for adding a photo of the Hollenback Cemetry in Wilkes-Barre Luzerne County Pennsylvania,. You listed my 4th G-Grandfather, James Bryden. If you are ever out that way again, would you be able to take a photo of his headstone? Your record lists it as USA Plot: lot 470 gr 1. Thanks for all your hard work!

Hi Tom, Thanks for posting a pic of my paternal great grandparents. I knew they were buried in MO but was clueless as to where because they both passed away in CA. How did you get the information about Lewis being in the Union Vet Field and Staff Kansas Calvary and information that their son Judd submitted for his Sons of the American Revolution. Would like to transfer them to me but am clueless how to do that. Thank....you made my day!
