Bio Photo I have lived in the mid-west all my life and have been an x-ray technologist for over 35 years. I found the Find A Grave website back in 2000 while helping my daughter research a school project. At the time, the more I explored Find A Grave the more disappointed I became that some of the famous individuals that were posted did not have a personal photograph in addition to their gravesite displayed. In the process of trying to locate photos for Find A Grave I have learned a lot about many of the individuals that it has been my pleasure to honor. History has always been a passion for me and Find A Grave has helped satisfy my curiosity tremendously.

Louise Lamprey
Ron,

Can you tell me where you got the photo of Louise Lamprey, I would like to create a better one. Or would it be possible to use yours? I wrote a long article about her on my blog and am reworking it.

I know folks are dinging you about his photo. I hope you don't take it down. I find his story very interesting.

I thought post mortem pictures were not allowed? Find the picture you posted inappropriate and hope you consider taking it down. May be why he is famous, but in bad taste, the whole situation is.

Sue is right. Dutch was buried in the Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland PA, NOT St John's cemetery, Herndon PA. His funeral was at St John's Lutheran Church, Northumberland PA. There is a picture of his casket being loaded into a hearse in front of the church posted on some his 4 or so memorials the picture is by Leo. I live in Northumberland PA and have a picture of his grave. I posted it on N. Dale Talkington's memorial because he had the facts and family information correct. I wish you would defer to his memorial or create one in the proper cemetery.

Thanks

Eric

Karen X. Gaylord (1921 - 2014)
Ron,

If you're able would you possibly be able to help upgrade the non-famous memorial for former actress, model, and 1942 Miss Minnesota, Karen X. Gaylord by composing a biography to boost it to star stature? She died on Aug. 1 and has a memorial here but it lacks a proper wording to make it be considered famous (hasn't even got a picture of her). The page is already consistent with her burial spot as well as her dates of birth/death, so you wouldn't have to worry with that.

Her memorial is number 134035102.

Her life story and career is here:

http://memorial.yourtribute.com/Karen-Xandra-Gaylord/story.aspx

http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_X._Gaylord

Pictorials of her can be located here:

Hope you'll think about it. Good luck in your future projects.

Sincerely,
Michael

Theodore Van Kirk
Ron, the news is reporting that he was buried in Riverview Cemetery.

http://www.dailyitem.com/0100_news/x1027620184/WWII-hero-Dutch-VanKirk-laid-to-rest-in-Northumberland

NORTHUMBERLAND After a 15-gun salute and a round of taps, a B-17 bomber circled over Northumberland in tribute to Theodore VanKirk as the last crew member of the Enola Gay was laid to rest Tuesday in Riverview Cemetery.
