Being retired and not too busy during the winter months, I am pleased to volunteer to take photos in the Kittanning, Pa. area cemeteries, weather permitting, and hopefully help others with their research. |
During the remainder of the year, keeping up with the lawn work, fly fishing and fly tying keep me well occupied, but I will try to take request photos as time allows.
Qualified transfers and corrections upon request.
If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you I would be glad to do so as long as they are not part of my or my wife's family. Please state your relationship to the deceased as required by the FAG transfer protocol.
Please feel free to use any of the pictures I have posted for your family genealogy. You may not use them for any commercial purpose without my express permission.

|D. Sutor||Find A Grave Memorial# 49454542|
Thank you for all your hard work, it is much appreciated.
The Find A Grave Memorial# 49454542 is Anna M George is the daughter of Peter George and Susanna Schull George. The way that I read the picture of her tombstone/headstone it says Anna M George Died Nov. 1 18-- aged 28 Y 3 M and given in the 1880 census record she is listed as Anne George born about 1871. Utilizing this information I have calculated that she died 1 November 1899 and that her date of birth is about 1 August 1871.
I hope this helps.

Samuel A George's headstone states that he died 18 November 1899 aged 21 years 8 months. Thus his date of birth can be calculated to 18 May 1878. This fits perfectly to be the son of Peter George and Susanna Schull George.

|Ruthi||RE: Ferris and Dunmire|
I just now seen this message. I'm having a problem that I know and I have told the cemetery caretaker. There is a line, perhaps 7 unmarked graves of my blystone family which is probably where Lydia Blystone Dunmire is. My grandmother used to put flowers on them, in front of stones used as their marker. A new attendant was mowing and tossed them into the woods but the indents are there. Andrew Dunmire is at this cemetery but not added. I'm going to get at that one.
Thanks for all of your help and also the Whitesburg Methodist..if you have any of those names too and want to get rid of them, ship them my way....Blystone, Yount, Smail, Faber, Burkett.
