Please be aware that Find-a-Grave is not my full-time occupation. I am not retired but am a working professional whose work and other obligations can demand a great deal of time. I work with F-A-G whenever I have time available to do so. What this means is that sometimes many weeks or months can go by before I can make updates or transfers for individuals. If you leave me updates or transfer requests, please be patient. They will not be discarded or ignored but will remain in my inbox, and they will be processed as I have a chance and from oldest to newest.

Many thanks for the photo for William.

James Fordyce (1846-1896)
I was discussing with Olin E. Hartley about somehow getting a stone for James, as he was a Civil War soldier, and his grave is unmarked, and if not marked soon, will be forgotten. I suggested applying for a military marker, but he told me to contact you. James is buried in the Anderson Cemetery, Tyler County, West Virginia.

Mariner's Cedar Grove
I found Annie Mary Merriner's old head stone, Daughter of Matilda & JV died 13. In Matilda's obit the last name is spelled Mariner, but I noticed on the large New stone Name Spelled Marner. I listed her under Merriner/Mariner, as well as JV.
