Hi,
When I do take the time and energy to make updates/ corrections, take that into consideration before you decline them. I use a couple of search engines. I do not make up corrections. And those that decline my updates then use them, Shame on you!
Too err is to be Human. I make mistakes. Please point them out and I will correct them, I will thank you and move on.
-Let's keep something in mind: We are creating a database of information for future historians.
A shout out to all for taking the time and energy to photograph/input records. And especially if you take the time to connect families together. THANK YOU! It is the QUALITY and not the QUANTITY of memorials that make a difference!

According to Find A Grave, As a memorial manager you are expected to:
- Respond Respectfully to 'edit requests' and other contacts regarding memorials. Don't decline the edit just because you feel like it, then use the info later on.
- Transfer a memorial to any relative if they request it, as long as the memorial is not in your line. Learn to share.

Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
it is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.

Dear ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder as you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
and come and visit you.
