I have lived in the mid-west all my life and have been an x-ray technologist for over 35 years. I found the Find A Grave website back in 2000 while helping my daughter research a school project. At the time, the more I explored Find A Grave the more disappointed I became that some of the famous individuals that were posted did not have a personal photograph in addition to their gravesite displayed. In the process of trying to locate photos for Find A Grave I have learned a lot about many of the individuals that it has been my pleasure to honor. History has always been a passion for me and Find A Grave has helped satisfy my curiosity tremendously.
Hello, Mr. Moody My name is Randy Hubbard. I am a huge fan of Hovie Lister and knew him and his family. I have a number of unique photos of Hovie and would love to share them on the memorial page, if you are ok with that.
re Howard and Harry Thurston Hi Ron, can you add your picture of Howard and Harry Thurston to Howard's brother Harry's memorial? thanks, donna http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=5194&PIpi=98309
You have a knack for finding obscure photos of so many people for this website. I created a page for one of my favorite architects, but I'm not able to locate a photo of him. He passed in 1957, so there must be a picture of him somewhere. I'm hoping you could use your resources and locate a photo of Mr. Finkelhor.
I was watching "The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle" and decided to look up their memorial on findagrave. Beautiful memorial that you posted. One thing though: the caption under the photo of Vernon and Irene says, "Pictured with his sister Irene"....except it wasn't his sister - Irene was his WIFE. Just thought you might want to know so you can change it. Take care!
