Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.

I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I am currently a Chicago police homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 25 years. My mother is a nurse and my one sister works for Loyola Hospital.

I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.

The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:

St. Mary's
Mount Greenwood
Mount Olivet
Mount Hope
Saint Casimir
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Evergreen Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery

Burr Oaks - Due to this cemetery digging up burial plots and dumping the coffins and bodies, this cemetery is the focus of national media and news outlets. It is a historical black cemetery operated by African Americans. It is currently shut down to the public as the criminal investigation is in progress. (Update: This cemetery has re-opened under new management)

Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.

Good Luck To All!

Bill Kazupski

Thank you for posting a photo of a relative of mine Auther Mandleco, died as a child. My father Grand father and uncle were also Chicago police officers. Walter W Mandaleco grandfather, Walter Henry Mandleco my dad and my uncle August H Mandleco who was killed April 25 1919 I believe on Winston Ave. So Chicago. Thanks again.

Thank you for the photos. Disappointing that Charlie has no stone, but not a big surprise.

Thank you so much for taking photos of my husband's family's headstone. I very much appreciate it especially after seeing the snow.

Hi Bill,

You kindly took photos of the Joslyn family plot in Mount Olivet including the monument and several grave markers. I've since created and/or located additional memorials that could also use your photo(s). I put in formal requests so you get credit for adding the photos, but here's a recap of who needs what:

Lavergne Burke - monument + marker
Walter S. Joslyn - monument
John Joslyn - monument
Edward J. Joslyn - monument + marker
James David Sonnefeld - monument
Anna Joslyn - monument + marker
Baby Boy Joslyn - monument
Eileen Joslyn - monument
Leonora Joslyn - monument

Thank you for all that you do!
