I think findagrave is a terrific idea. It is a way for us to keep everyone around forever. I have often found cemeteries to be very peaceful and many instances they tell a neat story.
Please feel free to email me with changes or requests. Please include findagrave in the subject so I know what it is. I am working primarily in Essex County, although some parts of Middlesex County I am working. (All in Mass) Southern NH is also not too far.
Feel free to email. Thanks!

Obert (Chester) and Katherine (Murray) Currier are both buried in Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth. The picture of the cemetery didn't appear when I added it to their memorials. I was wondering when you get a chance if you could add the first picture you have of Calvary Cemetery.

I found your memorial for Geraldine Meseth Girard and wanted to let you know that I created her mother's memorial - Emma Klufts Meseth # 168661923 that also has links for Geraldine's grandparents - Thomas Klufts and Francesca Gross with a headstone at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Can you update Geraldine's memorial to include her mother's memorial? The Klufts are my mother's family and I had been looking for details about Thomas' daughter Emma for a while and recently got her married name and the connection to Geraldine as a result. It would be wonderful to bridge the extended family memorials on Find a Grave to tell the family story.
Thank you for your contributions and interest in this important work making it possible for others to connect with their family roots. I was born in Lawrence but we relocated to California in the 70's and I haven't been back as often as I would like so the work done by others makes it easier to build out the history remotely.

I got to you through your name on a photo submission on Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Ma. I'm having absolutely no luck with finding a grave photo for my mother's parents and baby sisters.
All I have to go by is a cemetery receipt dated Oct. 12, 1916.
Robert J Ledwell is the purchaser of a plot located-
Path 51..North Saint Anthony Ave..Grave 61 East.
The name on the grave (I think) would be either Celia Cecelia or Clara Ledwell.
If this is also the burial site of my grandparents, the names would be Robert J Ledwell and Mary A (Hunt) Ledwell.
I'm having no luck through photo request.
Can you please get a photo or direct me to someone who can take a photo of this/these grave sites?
I'd be eternally grateful and happy to pay for costs.
Thank you so much for your time

Hi Jack, requested some edits for Nellie Hopkinson #13760307 a few weeks ago, was hoping you could make those changes left in your edit requests.
thank you, Barry

Hi Jack, The two memorials are the same person. The only difference is the middle initial discrepancy between the stone and what I have found elsewhere. I don't know all the ins and outs of this website so what do you suggest. You have photo of the grave on yours but I have the bio and family links on mine. Can they be merged into one memorial? I don't care which one of us manages the memorial. It is in our family though. Eric.

I went to Find a Grave website and checked the Frequently Asked Questions section. I found a paragraph about how to transfer a gravesite to another Find A Grave contributor (me). Here it is:
"...After you log in, go to the memorial page you are going to transfer. There will be a link on the right side of the memorial page, under the person's name, that says Transfer Management. Click on the link. Add the other contributor's ID # in the box on the Transfer Management of Memorial page that comes up, and click on the transfer this memorial button. NOTE: Once you have transferred the memorial, you will no longer be able to edit or update it. [Top]"
My Contributor # is: 47255329. Thanks!

As I work through this cemetery, I am following in your footsteps. I am grateful for all the work you put in to file memorials, especially the detail, makes adding photos a lot easier.
