thank you for photographing these graves. I am their great, great grand daughter. I wonder if there is any kind of a obituary book or reference? I would like to know the cause of death, since he was not yet 40.
Other family names are Glarncie, their daughter. She married Thomas J. Russell two months after her dad passed. She was quite young at 16, the groom was 49. I am desc. from them.
thanks so much !

RE: Major Carroll Todd, Sr #129251714
Deanna,

First of all, let me thank you for your response. Not that I can remember him, but everyone I spoke to 'claims' he had a short temper. It's quite interesting. His word was law but he went to the ends of the earth for his family. I appreciate your answer and thank you very much for your thoughts. I'm going to keep looking and hopefully I'll make progress.

Thanks again,

Brooks Wooster

Major Carroll Todd, Sr.
Virgil and DeAnna,

My name is Brooks Wooster. I am originally from Crisfield, Maryland. I am the great-great-great grandson of Major Carroll Todd, Sr. I do not know how you came across the Crisfield cemeteries, but I saw your name on Major's 'site'. I have always heard stories about my Ancestors, especially Major. He has been described to me as 'the meanest man that ever drew breath'. Interesting, right?

Anyway, I have always wondered what he looks like. I have never seen a picture of him. I am not sure you will have one but I wanted to ask. If you don't, do you know of anyone that does? This has always been a topic of interest for the remaining Todd family members.

If you would, please keep me informed. I wanted to give you a shout and hear what you had to say. You can also message me for an email address (which I check quite frequently).

Respectfully yours,

Brooks Wooster

Thank you for not only honoring my father but as well as his parents on your webpage. My father was a man who loved his family first and foremost and his country as well. I am grateful that you have taken the time to honor all those buried at Boyd's Creek. Thank you

Hi DeAnna!

I found your messages! It takes me forever to check my email! Been kind of busy with my life lately...my sister died a couple months back. I added a new memorial on here for her. If Kristen is inactive, Find A Grave should assign the duplicates to one of us. I trust you to do the right thing. Keep me posted if I need to do anything. Yes, I believe just about every cemetery in Sevier County has been covered and the amount of memorials I've added lately has slowed down.

Hope you're doing alright,
David
