Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Fresno, California of Alabama born parents, got into Genealogy in 1997 when I could not figure out what else to do with this computer on-line. I have built up quite a lot of pictures of old shots of the cemeteries of Clay County and Jefferson County Alabama. I have visited most of the cemeteries of my ancestors and my Wife's ancestors in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. A Self-proclaimed Historian with a California Historical society (E Clampus Vitus), I am visiting places of historical interest and with my trusty Dimage , Vivitar and Olympus digital cameras have been taking pictures of headstones at whatever cemeteries we may visit and Historical Monuments in our travels in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington. In Fresno, I have added the 1919 biographies of early Fresno residents from the Paul E Vandor book titled "The History of Fresno County" to as many listings as I could. If you have something you would like to have added to a Bio, just drop me a line.

I follow FindaGrave rules and usually transfer close relatives within 30 days. You can complain to the FindaGrave administrators if you want, but you will likely find they too have little patience for impatient people.

June Elizabeth Berg
Thank You for entering her grave and picture. She is the wife of Wesley Johann Berg (born 1921). As of 2015 if he is still living he would be 94 years old. Is he buried next to June?

He is my 3rd cousin 3x removed. May I use his & his wife's gravestone photos in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit. Thank you so much, Terry

Dr. Frederick Carl Cordes
Dr. Cordes is buried at Cypress Lawn in Colma CA. I found another volunteer had put him in back in 2012, but only had him as Frederick Cordes, memorial #87585490. I sent them an email that you had a lovely memorial up for him, and much earlier, but didn't have the cemetery. Assuming they will take down theirs and you can add the cemetery info.

Nice bio by the way!

Hi Lester,
Your memorial has Robert Emmet Fagan Memorial # 70978678 listed as son of Effie Alice Dye. He was in fact the son of Annetta (Nettie) Cox Fagan my Great Grand Mother. You have a note to that effect but I was wondering what it would take to correct the link in blue tying him to Effie Alice Dye #60994254. Thank you, Rebecca Coulter

RE: sorry, got messed up.
Thanks, I'll do some more research. I knew Martha and Ben wasn't buried in the Alder Branch. But when they made the Dam, the cemetery was moved. The couple who have listed a lot of the cemeteries there, are still trying to see if they can locate their burial.
