I came across this website and decided it was a nice way to honor forever those loved ones who have crossed my path of life at some time whether family, friends, co-workers or their families. I have also included quite a bit of information on my family (Rake/Raike & McCane) as it becomes available for genealogy purposes.
If by adding any of your loved ones I have overstepped my bounds or upset you that is not my intent. If you do not like what I have done please let me know and I can delete the information.
Please use the edit button for sending any requests for corrections or transfer.
If you have other loved ones you would like for me to add just send me their information and I will be happy to do so for you.
This comment below isn't mine but I saw how true it was within a short time of being on Find A Grave. I copied this to share from another member's site:
I think it is really a shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some.
Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these are people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
My apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them.
You may use any of my photos for your own personal use or for posting to your tree on Ancestry.com without my expressed consent. You are not permitted to use my photos for commercial usage. If you do use my photos, I appreciate a note crediting me with the photo if you can. If not, no big deal. The whole purpose of posting photos is to breathe life back to the deceased.

A belated thank you for moving the memorial page for Mr. Hedrick to the correct cemetery. I appreciate your help and am delighted that your record is correct.
All the best,
|Carolyn Ellis||Jack K. Elrod|
I believe I have found where Jack is buried. Check out Jack K. Elrod buried in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Johnson Co., Indiana. #139747119. He married Marcia Mae Huckelberry and she is buried there with him. There is no tombstone for either of them. Her number is 19322383. I just want to make sure I have the right one in my family tree with the right Find A Grave number. If this is the right one would you please re-post his picture? Thanks. Also suggest to them to post his rank.

Thank you for all that you are doing on Find A Grave. I have updated the bio for SSGT Blaylock and once the funeral home gets back with me his final resting place will also be updated.
