Bio Photo FROM PARTYING AT THE HANK WILLIAMS MEMORIAL TO REFLECTING AT GROUND ZERO - PRAISING AND RAISING THE DEAD SINCE 1994.

Country singer Alan Jackson's video for his song "Midnight in Montgomery" inspired us to visit Hank Williams grave in 1994. The trip was profoundly spiritual and inexplicably uplifting. From that point forward it became a yearly event, with smaller journeys in between. The Death 2ur has continued to grow. Our website has doubled in popularity each of the last five years.

Death is the greatest common denominator. No matter your wealth, or fame, or power, we all end up in the ground or scattered to the fore winds. Facing your mortality, as we do on these trips, only serves to invigorate the present.

Find-a-Grave has been an invaluable aid in locating many of the graves on our "2urs."

Mary Todd Johnson
Hey
Hey Todd, its Mary4579 from youtube. I never knew you guys were on findagrave. I have been a member of Findagrave since June of 2004 when I was still in high school. Thanks for posting your videos and doing what you do. Maryjane Longo and her three children are buried in my homestate in Michigan. What happened to them was horrible, and very wrong. Thanks Todd.

Thanks, Amy

RE: Robert Koehler Grave
I found him! He is at Section 20, Lot 159, Grave 4. Lakewood's website has him listed at Robert Kochler.

RE: Robert Koehler Grave
It's strange that Lakewood doesn't have a record of him. I took that photo at random so I don't remember where it was. With the lake in the background it looks like it could be section 20.

Thanks!
Hello Todd, thanks for your comments on my entry for Surfer Mark Foo. Being a California surfer myself I met him on the North Shore of Hawaii in the winter of 1993, the year before died. Not only was he fine surfer, he was super guy as well. Best always,
