PLEASE READ: EDITS - USE EDIT TAB
If you would like me to make corrections, add additional information, or link relatives together, I'm happy to do this. I really like it when families are linked together. To make this simple, please use the edit tab of the memorial and include memorial numbers of all memorials involved. If you send the information like this, I'll gladly make the changes. However, if you don't send the information properly and I would have to hunt for the memorial numbers involved, I'll simply delete the message. Also, don't use the instant messaging feature for edits.
If you ask for a transfer and do not provide your number, relationship, and the memorial number, your request will be ignored. For extended family members, one thing you can do is create a virtual cemetery.

Thank you so much for this photograph. My grandparents are William U. Brasington and Etta Deese Brasington. Do you know if that grave is for one infant or two. There were a set of twins born that died on the same day. Also, I am trying to find out about another son they had that died when he was anywhere between one and three years of age. My mother tries to remember, and thinks his name is Jack, but I have not had any luck finding a birth certificate on him. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much,

Thank you so much for obtaining photos for my Keenan relatives! It's so nice that people like you are willing to do the footwork for those of us who can't make the trip to another state. I really appreciate all your work. WLM

I am a several times removed cousin. I received a copy of his death certificate this week and sent you information regarding his birth and death. I hope you find the information useful. Thank you. . .

Flag will be merging the records. They moved all those over from the wrong cemetery and now will need to merge. Many links and additional photos.

They have actually changed at least 3 times since I started. I personally hate reading those "guidelines", they can change before you get back to doing what we enjoy doing. And Find A Grave is changing so much now, I personally prefer the "basics" only, linking when possible, leave the name as the marker shows it, but there are those out there that want to add middle names that can't be found except in "trees", and I'm quite sure you know that most of those trees are duplicates of another, and may or may not be correct. I personally am not trying to write a book with Find A Grave, just provide location of a burial monument.
Take care and thanks Don

Big thing in that it was transferred to me,,,I can't delete it, and in this case I wouldn't have, if it had been mine. Main reason, the person that created it, also entered the person's photo to the memorial prior to the other memorial being created. I don't like duplicates, but there are so many now that create memorials in the wrong location, then transfer them into the right location when they see that someone has added a photo there. Mistakes are made, I accept that with duplicates. As for preneed, Find A Grave guidelines prefer that it not be done, but they do leave the opening for those, like me, that transcribe cemeteries. They place dates or limits, but then I know one contributor that I create a memorial for a deceased individual, the photo shows the spouse and a birth date, and they enter the information for that living person born as late as 1964 in one case, actually took my photo and applied to it, yes I did squalk on that.
Thanks -- Don

You recently advised me that I had created a pre-need memorial, but I didn't, someone else did and transferred to me. You also advised that it should be deleted since it was pre-need, and I really don't understand your justification in that. Since the "pre-need" memorial was created from a photo showing that the person was in the cemetery and created the memorial from the photo, that the d.o.b. was pre 1931, and based on what I read on Find A Grave guidelines those circumstances are understood. The only thing that puzzles me, the person that created a 2nd memorial in that location, obviously they didn't search the cemetery to see if a memorial already existed. Anyway the memorials have been merged. Thanks -- Don

I know Laurie but haven't seen her in years. It's been so long I can't remember if my kids knew her from the Montessori school in Camden or the Community Theater, where they were active when Larry Hembree was director.
