I became interested in genealogy and finding my roots many years ago. In 2005, I began working for a company that has several cemeteries located near it. Weather permitting, I started going out during my lunch hour and visiting these cemeteries and taking pictures. I then discovered the MI Tombstone Project were I could upload my photos and help others locate their ancestors.

I've been trying to add my photos onto Find-A-Grave but it is a longer process trying to upload to two different sites. I have faith that I will eventually get it done. If you find one of my photos on MI Tombstone Project, please let me know and I will upload it to FAG.

If you happen to stumble upon any Vance, Kaloz, Torok, Meehan, Cosgriff, Quinlans, Davarns, McVeigh I'd love to hear from you.

Note: If you find a photo that I took click on that photo and you will see my notes. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find other ancestors that you didn't know about based on my comments.

Please read the Help with Find A Grave link before requesting transers. I'm pretty good about fulfilling requests outside of the "direct relatives within four generations" rule. I believe the memorials are in better hands with family and/or a descendant than with myself that is a stranger to the family history. Plus, I have discovered that it is easier for "living" relatives to find you if you are the manager of the memorial. However, if you demand the request versus asking politely and if you don't state your relationship you will not receive the memorial.
