Frances Ruttinger Jackie - I have never had to recall a transfer offer but unfortunately in this case I am going to have to. I received a transfer request from Mrs. Ruttinger's daughter, who should be given priority in this case as Find A Grave guidelines dictate. I am very sorry for the loss that your family has experienced, but am glad that Mrs. Ruttinger's memorial is going to be in the hands of family. I have never been in this situation before but I feel that this is the right thing to do. Again, I apologize for not honoring the transfer as we had arranged, but I have to do what is right. Thank you for understanding.
Frances Eileen Morrissey Ruttinger France's Eileen (Morrissey) Ruttinger is MY mother and, as her self-dictated Obituary indicates she wanted her name listed with her first husband's name "Evans" whom she was widowed from 9/20/1946 due to death as result of military plane crash at end of WWII, as well as her second husband 'Ruttinger".
I am the person, and daughter who requested the correction in the name, according to my mother's obituary that she dictated herself in 2007.
I have sent another edit request to please list her name as she requested as Frances Eileen (Morrissey) Evans Ruttinger. Please correct. Judith Ann Evans, daughter
Frances Ruttinger Jackie - Thank you for the correction. The hyphenated last name was added via correction from another contributor. Since you are a family member I would like to offer to transfer ownership of Mrs. Ruttinger's memorial to you. I am not always taken up on my offers, but I usually make the offer to family members. Thank you for contacting me, and I am very sorry for your loss.
ROBERT BURTON Hello Jackie I hope you don't mind me contacting you. Elizabeth Bland Burton was my great, great Aunt. I am finding it very difficult to find out any information about her.I know she left England for New York in 1893 and presume she travelled overland to S Dakota where her brother Charles and sister Harriet were already. I was looking through newspaper articles about Robert and saw you had left flowers so I am hoping you are related. Would you be able to let me have some information about her please? If you have any photographs I would be so happy if you would let me have a copy.
