I started researching back in the mid 1960's along with my mother. With the availability of the computer, software and internet I took her 350 names on my father's side and added her so-called "little & secretive family." Over 7,000 names now and growing daily.|

Thank you for the information. Yes, it does help.
|JoanDiane28||Burials at St. Carthagh|
Would you please let me know where you got the burial information for St. Carthagh in Tweed? Is it available online?
|JoanDiane28||RE: LaJoie/Lashwa at St. Carthagh|
Thank you very much!

Hello. I'm curious if you have and would be willing to share source data on James' birth. I have an extensive genealogy on the descendants of James and Douglas Barnett.

If you do not mind, I would like to manage the memorials you created at St. Carthagh in Tweed for the LaJoies and Lashwas. My member number is 47753459. I want to thank you very much for your work on Find A Grave.
|macso||RE: Christina Buck|
Hi Patricia: Ellsworth is to the left of Christina's stone. I took a photo 2 years ago of her stone and it might be a little better, but it has a few leaves on it. I'll post it and you let me know if you think you can make the writing out better or not. I'll revisit the area in a week or so and get a photo of Ellsworth spot. Chris.

Hi Patricia: Christina's stone is horribly deteriorated. I took the best photo I could. There was a blank spot beside her and once I got home I looked at a map I had of the area from a time when the office was more cooperative, and, yes, Ellsworth is beside her but unmarked. If you want a photo of the blank spot next to Christina, I can get it another time. Unfortunately, I didn't look at my map before I went and we don't go into the office and ask for information because they won't give Findagrave volunteers any information. Chris

|macso||Laura H. Roberts|
Hi Patricia: Not sure I can shed any light as to whether she is the wife of Raymond R. Roberts. Everything matches except for the birth year. It's two years off, but that could just be a mistake by whoever gave the information on the death certificate. I look on Ancestry and everything says this is the right person, except the death record. Otherwise, I would say this is the right Laura. Of course, the cemetery staff is not going to divulge any personal information. If you want to spend the money, the death certificate would give you the proof you seek. I'll have a photo of her grave for you this week. Chris

|Shanon ||Walter John Ward|
I just found the Find A Grave listing for my Grandfather, Walter John Ward, 1977 Union Cemetery, Merrickville Ontario. In addition to the listing I see that you have been in contact with Michael Ward, the son of Donald John Ward (my uncle). I tried to contact Michael through the site without success. Possibly because I don't use the latest version of Microsoft. If you would be so kind as to pass this along to him it would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear from him with regard to the family.
Thank you so much,

|HL49||RE: Leo Rosencrans|
No, I didn't find a marker for Leo at the Drayton Cemetery at all. Today I walked the Memorial Park Cemetery in Forest River, ND and that's where I saw the gravestones for Leo.
