I am very fond of exploring cemetery grounds but the majority of the memorials I have created are gathered from a handful of reference books compiled of the entire record listings from individual cemeteries. I have upcoming plans for further burial records throughout Maine and old burial records of New Jersey.
It is a rewarding experience for me to help people locate their ancestors and lost loved ones. God bless! :)
Your tombstone stands among the rest, Neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out...On old gray granite stone. It reaches out to all who care...It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist...You died...and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you...In flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse...Entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled...One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left...Who would have loved you so. I wonder when you lived and loved; I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot...And come and visit you.
Odelie Despres Daigle Hi. I was wondering if you could connect Odelie with her parents. She was my great aunt. She was born Audelie Deprey on 16 Jan. 1894 in Wallagrass, daughter of Marcel Despres # 63383641 and Marie Anastasie St. Germain-Cureau # 63412099. Thank you, and for the photo's also.
Webster Cemetery Hi, I've been busy photographing this cemetery to add to the memorials, some edits, too. I just went to add to pics Samuel Thomas and his wife Mary C Thomas and noticed that someone had recently added new memorials with extensive bios. Your memorial numbers are 142522546 and 142522654. The new memorials are 161561272 and 161560867. If you wouldn't mind deleting yours, it might be easiest! Thanks for your consideration! Karen
Photo on Memorial of Marie SAMS (127444383) Good afternoon - On 6/21/2014, you had posted a photo of a grave marker of a "William W" Parker to the memorial for Marie SAMS (#127444383) who is buried in the Mayfield Creek Church Cemetery in Carlisle, KY. I believe that photo was posted in error. I contacted the manager of the memorial and she indicated that she was not able to remove the photo herself. Is it possible you could re-visit that memorial and remove the photo? Thank you for your assistance. Mark Gentry Member #47232901
RE: Mabel F and Edward J McCormick I can't remember if I replied to this or not. Edward Joseph McCormick died July 1953. I believe he died in Greenwich CT and was moved up to Maine by Mabel F to her family plot. I do not have her maiden name.
RE: Mabel F and Edward J McCormick Edward's death is July 1953.I was told he died in Greenwich CT and was brought back to Maine to be buried in Mabel's family plot. That is really all I know. I don't have any info on Mabel.
RE: RE:60226601 Hi there. This is her memorial #: Barbara Jo "Vera Vague" Allen. You originally created the memorial. Her name was actually Marion Barbara Henshall but she went by "Barbara Jo Allen." She married William Barton ("Bart") Yarborough on 11 Aug 1927 in New York City. She wa 20. She also married twice more, to Charles Hooper Crosby (1931) and to Norman W Morrell (1943). Judy
RE: Rich Cemetery - Livermore I have evidence it's the Adkins Hines Cemetery in Canton. F.A.G. shows it's 97% photographed (which doesn't necessarily mean all the graves), but the Drake monument was photographed with his parents, Elisha & Zibeah. I'm thinking William Henry could be listed on a different side of the monument.
Thanks if you are going to get over there and check it out - it is highly appreciated!
Grace Evelyn Dodge Lamson tombstone Grace Lamson's stone is indexed with an "L" after her first name. If you look closer to the picture you will notice that it is an "E" with some grass around the top of the E. I don't know how to it this on this website.
