Thanks so much for him and for all you do in posting the family info - nice to have him with the family. Someday I hope to see San Diego!

Thanks again,

Thank you very much for your time you took to look for our grandfather headstone, even though it was not there at least we now know where he is laid to rest. You are a very kind person to do the work you do. God Bless you..Harold an Linda Summers

Henrietta Eula (Nye) Doucette
Hi Linda,
I just wanted to thank you again for your Find-a-Grave contributions. Your random effort to generate memorials in the Summer of 2013 allowed me to find my grand aunt, "Eula," after three years of unsuccessful internet searching. Thank you also for, without hesitation, transferring management of Eula's memorial to me.
The rest of the story: After you transferred management to me, I requested a grave photo and it was claimed several times without a photo being posted. I heard later that there was somebody in the San Diego area repeatedly claiming photos for this cemetery without fulfilling them. It took about four months before a real photo contributor could claim the duty. I was surprised when the photo was finally posted to learn that there was no marker for Eula. Despite living halfway across the country, I was able to buy a marker and have it installed. The monument company gladly took photos of the completed project which are now posted on her Find-a-Grave virtual memorial. Thanks, Linda!

Mt Hope Cemetery-San Diego
Thanks for the photos of Charles E Soulsby & his mom Myrtle. You understood exactly what I wanted for the "beauty shot". Maybe others don't want that, but I do. So many photo entered are "chopped off" not even the full stone sometimes shows.

Again, thanks for the help & the understanding!

Thank you so much for adding the tombstone picture.
It really helps to get confirming or additional information.
It is because of people like you, who go out of your way to assist us, that we are able to link to our family members.

Pennoyer photo requests
I know you just fulfilled a photo request for Katherine Pennoyer, and now there are three other photo requests for family members which I just claimed. Would you like me to unclaim them so you can fulfill them as well? If so please let me know what time of day we should synchronize our actions so you can have those requests. Thank you for all that you do for Find A Grave :)

RE: Thank You
When Halvor and Martha (Marthelde) came to America, they were "Halvorsons". They family lore was that in latter years, they took the name "Reinhold". My late Grandmother said that they were buried in Mt. Hope cemetery under the name "Halvorson". Years back, I tried to find them to no avail. Recently, I started reading a lot about their son. He went by the name Oscar Halvorson Reinholt. Something told me to try "Halvor Reinholt" on "Find a Grave" . Because of your picture, I found him! "Halvorson" is a common name but now I have their actual birth and death dates for future research. Thank you so much!!!

Eula Doucette
Thanks for the transfer, Linda! More importantly, thanks for adding Eula to the Find-a-Grave database. We had been hunting for Eula's cemetery for years!
Doucette memorial
I transferred the memorial to you. I listed the memorial from a list I had but I don't know if there is a marker - hopefully there is one. I figure if I enter at least names that maybe a family member will find their lost relative - worked beautifully in your case. Linda
