Bio

My name is Suzanne & I have been researching my family history for over 49 years, ever since I was asked to do a small family tree for a school project. This piece of homework captivated me beyond belief, which turned into a lifelong obsessive love of genealogy. My searches led me, all in equal measures, into the depths of century's past, of poverty & wealth, the skilled & unskilled, & lines of English Landed Gentry & subsequently into the British Royal Family & beyond. Travelling into Europe, the USA, & Australia researching & meeting & all along the way, I encountered many relatives, distant in both miles & relativity, all of whom I call my friends & family. Each of whom has added their own stamp & all of whom deserve merit & acknowledgement. To each & everyone of them & to those who will come after, I offer my grateful thanks for the history you have given me. You are all historians & I wish you to survive in eternity in the pages of my research. Good luck to everyone who begins their own journey of discovery.

Polite Message regarding MY Photos:
Please note that whilst I am happy for you to take copies of my photographs for your own research; ALL the photos, of people & graves alike, either taken by or posted by me, MAY NOT be used by you without my permission.
Ask, and I probably grant it, but please do not steal them and re-post them somewhere, as I have sadly seen!
When I post my photos here, I still retain the copyright. I give Ancestry the right to use it, not its members.
They have taken me many years to either collect, take, collate, and assign, and I would really appreciate it if you would credit me with any images you use, anywhere.
Many thanks for your understanding. Suzanne.
