Please use the edit tab on the memorial to send a correction or suggestion so that I know what memorial you are referring to. When it is on my Bio page it is much harder to find.

Memorial # 148641133 is my father. Thank you for creating the memorial. I would like to add a more recent photo of his grave site, one with the grass now added. Is there anyway to have the old photo deleted before I add the new photo?

Thank you so very much for your great work.

Henry Hobgood

Henry Hobgood's father was John Randolph Hobgood not John Landolph as shown. His mother was Fronia Ann Chandler Hobgood.

Mary Highsmith Burnett
I am researching the Highsmith/Burnett family. Found your posting for Mary Highsmith Burnett 49878547. The tombstone reads Mary Burnett. How did you find the Highsmith connection? Using info for DAR research. Thank you!

Thanks & 1 word change?
Mr. Evans, you were so kind to add the thoughtful touches to the sites of my great grandparents Walter Henry Barnes and his wife Roberta Alice (Blick) Barnes. Walter's mother's name was misspelled on her death certificate and hence her tombstone names as well. She was Frances A. Webb of unknown parentage, but her first husband was William George Cowling. Upon his death she married John C. Barnes who promptly died in the Civil War after fathering Walter. So her actual name was Frances A. Webb Cowling Barnes. The reason this matters is that if Cowling is spelled correctly interested researchers may be able to find her parents in the Virginia counties where courthouse and church records were burned by the Yankees. Her son, George William Cowling, apparently died in the Civil War as well after enlisting in NC where he was living with his sister's husband's family. Thanks so much to consider making this change for this lady who had such a hard life. They moved to Goldsboro to rejoin the Barnes family but I have not been able to find the parents of my Civil War ancestor John C. Barnes in that area. He was born 1822 in Norfolk County but the only Barnes there in 1820 census did not have a son named John. I'm loving this family history hobby, and thanks again for all your hard work for us.
Appreciatively, Margaret Barnes Stroud of Portsmouth, Va
