Yockey, Steinhoff, etc.
Hello, cousin!

Here's a link that should delight you. It's a listing of burials at Smithland. There are 2 Lantis folks on the list, no Shinkle surname.

I have some Yockey in my tree way back. Believe at that time it was Jacky or at least in my records it is. And I'm indeed related to Steinhoff (mother's surname) and Eichhorn. I'm related to lots of those people who migrated from Monroe County, Ohio to Woodbury County, Iowa.

RE: DeFresna marker
You are so welcome. That is such an interesting name that it was easy to find in the cemetery. Did you notice the small markers to left and right of the large stone? I assume children but don't know.

Re: Re: Bernadine Dietrich
Found it, the Bernadine Dietrich in Cowlitz View maiden name is Lehman. What a world 2 Bernadines with different maiden names marrying Dietrich men & lived & living in the same state. Thanks again!
