|Cheryl White||Mary & James Scott, again|
I just wanted to let you know that when I update a burial in Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS, I print off the page and take it to the offices at the cemetery. The present owners have only had the cemetery a few years, and do not have a copy of the microfilmed records I use from the Kansas State Historical Society archives. They are always happy to take my copies ----- I take a stack every Monday.

I also added the information for Mary Scott, and linked her to her husband. I did not use the whole article on her page, only the parts which were about her.
|Cheryl White||James Bryant Scott|
Thanks for the lengthy article about James. I have copied it to his page in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.
Thanks for sending the Obit for Baby Alexander, his memorial has been updated to include all the information.

Thank you for your kind words. I've been walking Greenwood (Byesville) and have been looking for the Walters. I did post a pic of their son Elmer's grave today. I hope to hit some of the other cemeteries in Guernsey & Noble and will keep an eye open for your request. Thanks again for the kind words! Bob

|Andre Dominguez||Henry P. Mayer Photo Request|
Requested photo was for Henry P. Mayer, but could not locate this name in the Rohrerstown cemetery. I did find Israel P. Mayer with the same Birth and Death dates. I suspect Henry is a typo. I sent a suggestion to the owner of this memorial to investigate and revise the name. From “The Lancaster Daily Intelligencer,” Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Friday, 20 October 1908, p. 2, c. 4-5, Israel P. Mayer, 59, died 30 October 1908 in Landisville, Pennsylvania. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Deitrich, child Anna E. Mayer, brothers John, Trinidad, California, Abraham, Indianapolis, and Christian, Lancaster, and sister, Mrs. Emma Lichty, Cordelia.

You are welcome and thank you for giving me the opportunity to photograph her gravesite. The news of the event that led to her death will always be in my memory. My father worked at the mill and it was several days before I learned that he was not involved.--Storres
