Kit (Elaine Page-Benson) attended Pfeiffer College in NC for two years and Glassboro State College in NJ for three years. She was a Law Enforcement Officer and Detective in NC for 10 years. She taught Special Education students for 9 years, and spent a year teaching students in a junior high school in-school suspension program. She now spends her time on nature trails, with quilting & crafting, reading, photography and genealogy.|
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1972, and a MBA in 1984 from University of Scranton (PA). He spent twelve years working overseas in Germany, a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and had a variety of assignments at various Army installations in the US. He's a member of the Civil Air Patrol, The Retired Officers Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. They live in Alaska, where Morgan works as an Energy Engineer.
Together we have 5 children and six grand-children. We enjoy sight seeing, visiting National Parks and State Parks throughout the USA, reading, photography, history, Volksmarching and hiking, learning and seeing the history of our great country, and GENEALOGY!

Thanks, I will make sure to do that.

What do you think of this article? By this, he's not there. I'm writing an article about the 16th of May duel. The ending seems uncertain.
|Ellie Hook||Carter Braxton's Mother|
I'm very confused as your biography for Carter Braxton on his Memorial (#2803) states his mother died at his birth, and a newspaper article in the Virginia Gazette on 24 Sep 1736 for Mary Carter Braxton said "Last Friday, died Mrs. Mary Braxton, Daughter of the late Col. Carter, President of the Council of this Colony, and Wife of Mr. George Braxton, of King and Queen County: She was a Gentlewoman of a very good Character, well belov'd by her Neighbors and Acquaintance, and her Death is much lamented. She was lately delivered of a Son, and in a fair way of Recovery; but unhapily catching Cold, was soon carried off; and the Child also died the Monday following."
So the newspaper article said the child died. I'm very confused and hope you can help me understand.
|Ginny L Averett Kuhn||Robert Paul Hillard|
You left a comment for my Great Uncle Robert Paul Hillard... may I ask if you knew him personally? I understand from a number of our common Hillard family members that he was the black sheep of the family - it is unclear if family truly knew nothing of him and his life or if they knew and didn't want to acknowledge him or talk about him.
I am his brother Donald's granddaughter and have been following my family genealogy for almost 19 years now and had originally had assistance from Donald and their sister June, but both have since passed. I would truly like to learn more about Uncle Robert and would love to hear from you if you knew him personally.

There are photos of Cory Aquino's tomb at Manila Memorial Park. I can email them to you
|Karen McKellar||Helen Wadsworth 29492291 Find A Grave|
Last week I submitted a request to link Helen to her Parents: Earl James Strong 43433865 and Lottie McGhee Strong 43434236.
Helen is my first cousin. She was born in Great Falls, Montana. I also have information on her husband, Ben Wadsworth and son Robert Wadsworth.
If you wish to transfer her memorial to be, that would be fine. Otherwise, I would appreciate your making the link. I have also uploaded a picture of Helen (graduation), I believe. Her father's line can be followed on find-a-grave to the immigrant ancestor. Thanks for your assistance.

Thank you for the transfer of Clayton Kille's memorial. I expanded his bio section to include details given in the "Poems" book compiled by Binford T. Shreve for his mother, Elizabeth (Kille) Shreve Chambers. Eventually I'll add more details and work on making the content flow a little better. I've linked the family members I manage to Clayton's memorial, and would appreciate you linking the memorials of Rachel Gaskill and Elizabeth Shreve Chambers. Best Regards, John D.
