The death date does not match the Louisiana death record or the headstone.
|Robert Braselton||RE: James M|
Thanks for checking on information on James M Burnett. I will keep looking.
|Robert Braselton||James M "Jim" Burnett|
Hope you can help with this. There are several of us gravers looking for information on a James M. "Jim" Burnett that most likely was a confederate soldier from Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. He had an older brother, William T Burnett, and a younger brother, Covington H Burnett, that for certain served in the Civil War. The father of these brothers is the Robert Hightower Burnett that is buried in the Gilgal Cemetery in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The information we have on the memorial is all that we could find on Jim Burnett and the death date could be incorrect. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

David, do you have personal knowledge of this woman? She was my 3rd grt-grandmother, mother of Jonathan Tillman Taylor, my 2nd grt-grndfthr. I want to thank you for sharing information on ancestry. Do you have any other information about Alexander Taylor, Delasia's first husband? Thank you for your contributions.

Thank you for the memorial for my gggrandfather. I am trying to verify his civil war record. Can you share how you know he served in the 28th, please?
|Angie Hertzberg Martin||Ambrose Agaisse|
No, I am sorry. I am not related to Mr. Agaisse. I went through the cemetery and shot photos of the headstones. The cem didn't have many people listed in Find A Grave and by the time I was done it had many, many more. I took pictures of headstones of lots of people I didn't know. I'm sorry I couldn't help!
Thank you for all the fine work you do on Find A Grave. You make it easier for all of us researchers.

If possible is there a marker for Jacob Snider in Old Macedonia Cemetery and could you take a photo of it. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Vickie Rush
