He was born in Rochester, Monroe County, New York at 173 Goodman Street/15 Goodman Street.
The Street Number was changed in 1880.

Died in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts

He was a great business, kind, and respected man.

Having a chain of stores until the Great Depression where everything was lost for him and so many of our kin. My dad, his youngest son, had saved over $500.00 in one of the Banks Issac was President of and on the Board of a few others. My dad, all his life was a saver/investor. He was flabbergasted his whole life remembering when he was a young lad had to give up all that $500.00 savings he worked so hard for.

My fathers Uncle, Abraham William De Mallie was working for my Grandfather (his brother) Isaac Ernest De Mallie,CEO in his chain of stores De Mallie's. Abraham ran the stores in Providence, Rhode Island. Also multi-years he was elected Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge which was/is across the street from the R.I. State House which now a luxury Hotel.
Uncle Abe was a 33rd Degree Mason.

Babe RuthBabe Ruth used to visit with them, they were great friends.
