I was born and raised in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and I have always held an interest in cemeteries. (I have since relocated to Bucks County, Pennsylvania). As children, we would picnic in them, pick wild strawberries when we could find them, play hide and seek and even take a sleigh ride down some of the steeper hills on snowy days! No disrespect was ever meant, it was just a way of life for us growing up here. It was where us kids would play and spend our summer days, and go to get a drink of cool water from one of the old hand drawn water pumps.

Now as an adult, I love to walk through different cemeteries and look at all the different stones with their names and dates and inscriptions with their beautiful, intricate stonework. I find it peaceful and relaxing. It gets me outdoors and I even get in a little exercise walking along the winding roads and pathways with the stones tilting this way and that. And since I have an interest in photography and genealogy, this is a way for me to expand upon a couple of my hobbies.

It is my hope and goal, that I might be able to provide some comfort to those who have lost their dear loved ones by creating these memorial pages for each individual. They may not be able to visit the cemetery, but they can visit their loved ones and friends here, and leave a loving note.
