Born and raised in Fresno, California of Alabama born parents, got into Genealogy in 1997 when I could not figure out what else to do with this computer on-line. I have built up quite a lot of pictures of old shots of the cemeteries of Clay County and Jefferson County Alabama. I have visited most of the cemeteries of my ancestors and my Wife's ancestors in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. A Self-proclaimed Historian with a California Historical society (E Clampus Vitus), I am visiting places of historical interest and with my trusty Dimage , Vivitar and Olympus digital cameras have been taking pictures of headstones at whatever cemeteries we may visit and Historical Monuments in our travels in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington. In Fresno, I have added the 1919 biographies of early Fresno residents from the Paul E Vandor book titled "The History of Fresno County" to as many listings as I could. If you have something you would like to have added to a Bio, just drop me a line.|
I follow FindaGrave rules and usually transfer close relatives within 30 days. You can complain to the FindaGrave administrators if you want, but you will likely find they too have little patience for impatient people.

I see you have added a wonderful photo of these folks. I believe my great grandmother might be one of the children in the picture. Her name was Mary (Letson) Kelley-wife of Truman- and is also buried at the Smyrna Cemetery. She was the daughter of Samuel and Dora Letson. Do you have any idea who the children are?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for adding the information on Victoria. I am still looking for her EX husband. I have been told that he went back to Switzerland & died there, but a search has his death in NY. I have Charles living in NY & Albert living in CT in the census.
Thank you again for adding my information

Thank you for the bio for Mr. Walter. I have added it to his memorial. He was quite a character! Too bad there's not a photo for him.
I was unfamiliar with E Clampus Vitus, so I looked it up. If I lived in California, I'd love to join. Sounds like quite a fun organization.

Hi. You are part right on her. She was married to a Eugene Langenegger, July 1, 1880 Switzerland. The had 5 children, Marie Eugene Langenegger Villermin; Albert Langenegger; Eugene Walter (Walker) Langenegger Laisne; Charles Langenegger; & Victor Emil Langenegger Laisne. Sometime between the 1900 & 1920 census E. W. & V. E. changed their names to Laisne. The other 2 sons keep the Langenegger name. But the husband & her got a divorce I think May 9, 1905 in NY. I got this info from Victor's daughter. Barbara Laisne Hubbard. If you wish for more info Please feel free to email me & I will give you more. Thank you for listing her memorial. I hope that I have been some help.

You have been a jewel lately responding so quickly to my edits, corrections and additions. Please forgive me for the occasional mistakes. I feel like a fool when I have to tell you I messed up but you take care of them without saying a word.
We have been working on my son-in-law's family. I did not realize there would be so many right in the Fresno area. Every time we had one another appears. The must be watching.
Thank you so much for your help!
