William A. & Sarah F. Myers Shannon, In the beginning of February, I sent "Edit Suggestions" to You regarding William & Sarah Meyers, but You have not responded, so I now am choosing this forum. Neither William Meyers nor Sarah Myers are buried in the Gibson Cemetery located 1 mile West of Fandon, Illinois. I do have Burial Records of this Cemetery & their names nor their headstones are to be found. Please check again as to this couple's final resting sites & Remove their Memorials from the Gibson Cemetery, as Your Information as it stands is Inaccurate.
RE: Robert E. Walsh Hi Shannon, Thank you for your inquiry. I don't know a lot about the Walsh family as they were my in-laws. I have done a little bit of research for my father in law, Robert E. Walsh, before he passed away. His parents were William V. & Victoria Lawson Walsh. They were born and raised in West Liberty, Ky. and moved to Blue Ridge Township in Piatt Co. in the early abt. 1906. If you think our families might be connected, I would be glad to work with you in any way I can. Thanks Again, Paula Walsh
RE: T.J. Polsgrove I am happy to transfer! Use the suggest-a-correction under the edit tab to contact me with the request. That beams the memorial link to me and includes your member number, which is needed to transfer.
RE: Robert Walsh memorial I posted a photo just now. I have some other pictures I took and can send them to you if you wish. They are just pix or the area around the site should you want to get a better sense of the location. By the way the large cavalry monument is not a Pfeffer monument but rather Seeber (or some other similar name - my notes are in the car) and it is located closer to the lane and a bit further south from your fathers.
Please let me know if you want any other photos and/or if the posted picture is not OK.
I used to walk through this cemetery on my lunch hour as I worked just a few hundred yards to the east and often walked though the areas around the UofI Research Park.
