Peacock's at Oakwood Cemetery
Hi! Photos posted for Joseph and Clara Peacock.

Also there is a Peacock monument:

1. William Peacock, Mar. 30 1817 - Feb 2, 1884 (note these days may be inaccurate because of weathering of the monument). There are also small foot stones.

2. Susan Peacock, 1825 - 1867 (?)

In the main photo you can also see two white stones to the left of the Peacock monument. These are for persons with the last name of Burlingame and Sargent. I don't remember the first names, but I saw a Burlingame name connection when posting the Joseph & Clara photos.

If you create the memorials (if needed) and add the photo requests I will post the photos I took.

Daniel Parker
I found this information on Daniel Parker's grave site (find a grave)

"The newest Parker member of FG#7 P401 has a paper trail that links Daniel E. Parker and his wife Mary Lucy White to his father Major Richard Parker and his wife Ann Hogan.
What this means is Daniel Parker is not a brother to "Elder" John Parker of DNA FG#5 as many of us believed. - info supplied by Wayne Nelson Parker"
Could you please give me a web. site or Wayne Nelson Parker's info. so I could contact him...
My name is Brenda Parker Van Cleve I am researching the Parkers.(

RE: Edward and Jessie West # 10672006

Oh, thank you so much for checking! I can't believe I didn't think to check for marriage licenses… so I also went looking and found:

Edward G. West married 03 Oct 1900
in Stockton, Cedar County, Missouri
Jessie Woodruff

Its stated that he was over 21 and she was under 21 and then said "The father T. N. Woodruff of the said Jessie Woodruff has given his assent to said marriage."

Now the cool thing? Seems that in Stockton, the Circuit Clerk was none other that E. G. West and the Deputy was none other that T. N. Woodruff. They signed all the other marriage licenses in the book, too.
I hadn't notice that.

So, there are four things about this family that I've not yet found:

1) death date for Jessie (Woodruff) West

2) burial place for Jessie (Woodruff) West

3) a maiden name for Maude Lee (last name?) West

3) a marriage date for Maude Lee (last name?) West

I'll let you now if I find anything, but I think I've searched about all the places I can. It mostly, supposedly, all took place in Los Angeles County (of course, one never knows for sure, until all the papers are found).

Again, thank you so very much!
I appreciate your kindness.

RE: Jessie Woodruff

Yes. Jessie Woodruff was the daughter of Theodore N. Woodruff and Leota V. Woodruff-Sherman (they are in findAgrave, 29763024 and 29763060, respectively).

Here is the family the way I found them in the census records

1900 Census: Lynn, Cedar Co, Missouri
Jessie (bc 1884; Indiana) with her parents and Edward, too.

03 Oct 1900; Stockton, Cedar County, Missouri
Jessie Woodruff marries Edward Garrison West
becomes Jessie (Woodruff) West

1910 Census: Norwalk, Los Angeles, California
Jessie, Edward, and Margaret Leota

20 Dec 1912: Norwalk, Los Angeles, California
Margaret Leota dies
Buried in Little Lake Cemetery, Santa Fe Springs, CA

1920 Census: Norwalk, Los Angeles, California
Edward G. West and 2nd wife Maude L.

1930 Census: Norwalk, Los Angeles, California
Edward G. West and 2nd wife Maude L.

1940 Census: Downey, Los Angeles, California
E. G. West and 2nd wife Maude

Edward Garrison West
born 18 dec 1866; Indiana
dies 31 dec 1948; Riverside, CA
Buried in Little Lake Cemetery, Santa Fe Springs, CA

Maude Lee West
born 29 Oct 1881; Missouri
dies 13 Mar 1978; Riverside, CA
Buried in Little Lake Cemetery, Santa Fe Springs, CA

(I hope that makes sense?)
Thanks again for checking.
