Twenty-year U.S. Navy Veteran. College Professor, Ph.D. student, and writer (fiction, short stories, screenplays, etc.).|
After 20 years in Hawaii I now reside on the mainland. Please feel free to utilize me as often as you like. I love taking photos of the markers for family and friends who can't always make it to view them. We must always remember that our fallen loved ones are the true heros.

What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?
If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not direct family, then they must transfer the memorial. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work on it for you.
|Madison L. Barnett ||RE: Grave transfer|
Per Find A Grave rules, whenever a blood family member, within four generations, request a transfer, it must be transferred. If it is not transferred within a reasonable time, Find A Grave staff can transfer it.
I was hoping that we could become friends so I could find out more about my grandmother through you, but we don't seem to be getting off to a very good start. I understand she was your friend, but she was my blood grandmother.
Sending a copy of this to Find a Grave.
|Madison L. Barnett ||Grave transfer|
Bertha Barnett is my grandmother. I know you are not family, but just a very good friend, so I would like to request a transfer.
