|Legacy||The Pickens Sisters--Helen, Jane, and Patti|
The Pickens Sisters were originally Jane and her older sisters Helen and Grace. Grace dropped out of the act and was replaced by a singer named Marla Forbes for a few months. When Marla Forbes quit in the late spring of 1932, the youngest Pickens sister, Patti--only 14 at the time--joined Helen and Jane and that combination remained until the Pickens Sisters trio went their separate professional ways in 1936. "The Three X Sisters" were another group entirely, composed of sisters Pearl Hamilton Santos and Violet Hamilton and a non-relative named Jessie Fordyce.

would you know where we might obtain a picture of her- she was the first Regent of the New York Daughters of the American Revolution
I guess he did marry both. Pardon me. A crazy bunch.

Please correct your fine memorial here as she was married to Alexis, not Serge Mdivani. Even the newspaper article you have included here states this. Thank you.
Tyler, I liked your bio of Perle Mesta very much. One item that I believe needs correction is this:
"...she married Mesta, who brought her to Democratic conventions and left her a fortune in 1962."
George Mesta died in 1925, and he left his entire fortune to her. Shouldn't the date of 1962 above be corrected?
