Bio and Links
I've written and published two family history books and the history of Berryton for its 1986 Centennial.

I have just finished going through three books about Topekans in 1905, 1934 and 1956 for the third time. They were WHO'S WHO and BUILDERS OF TOPEKA. Also, I'm adding bios from WHO'S WHO IN THE WORLD, 1912. There are still many biographies that need to be added, once their tombstones are copied. I'll put the books away for another year and go back and try to find some more.

About 25 years ago, the local historical society put all the Shawnee County marriage applications up to 1913 on microfilm. They discarded the originals and allowed persons to take names of those they recognized. I gave my old mailman about 50 and he delivered them to people in our township. I have given away hundreds of them. I still had some left over, so I put them on FAG.

JH. You asked me to add an obituary to Vey. I have just made that addition. A year and a half after you requested. I am so sorry! I don't know how I missed it, but am happy to have found it!

James M. Westerfield FAG #92836602
Hi JH, There is an error in the biography of James M. Westerfield (Find A Grave #92836602). Ada Victoria was not his wife as he was not married as far as I know. Adaline Victoria was in fact his older sister who also lived near her brother James M. Westerfield, her brother John F. Westerfield and her father Samuel Westerfield in Topeka, Kansas. They were all born in or near Henry County, Indiana. I am attempting to correct his biography. Thank you.

Alexander Majors (Crown Hill Cemetery)
Hello JH,

Sorry for the very late reply on your request. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very, very long time.

Thank you for the information for Alexander Majors. I have added it to his memorial.
