ROSE BEYOND THE WALL
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall….
One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide ~
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side
Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving care.

Thank you for all the wonderful pictures. Many of my family buried in Oakland Cemetery and the pictures are so wonderful. I truly appreciate all that you do for Find-A-Grave. Thanks again.
Thank you for making the corrections

Thank you so much for posting my information. I know this is correct as the two youngest children are still alive and verified the information. Willard was my great-uncle.
Thank you, RamblinRose!

I was wondering if you could help me with a question. You have a page for an Elizabeth A Whitenack in Rose Hill Cemetery (#70191744) where you have included both a birth date and a spouse for her. I was wondering how you know this information because I do not see it on the headstone anywhere. I am trying to track down an Elizabeth Whitenack who shares the same birthdate as the one on this page.
Thank you so much for your time,

Hi,I have never been able to find my grandfather. He was buried in Potters Field in 1909 in St. Louis, MO (?) his body exhumed and moved to Chicago to be buried by his family. Is this possibly the same John Frederick Miller. I have searched for years. Thanks for your help, would love to hear from you. email@example.com

Thanks again for your gallant effort in spite of your fear of snakes. I love the pictures the way they are so don't feel like you have to return on my behalf. Jacob & Lucinda are my 4th great-grandparents.
Thank You Again,
